Steve Cooley for Los Angeles County
District Attorney
Steve Cooley is seeking a third term as Los Angeles County
District Attorney. Prior to his election in 2000 he served as a
prosecutor with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office for 27
years. Mr. Cooley’s accomplishments include reorganization of the
District Attorney’s Office, changes to critical directives and in office
policies. Some of his most noted accomplishments are the Victim Impact Program,
Forensic Sciences Section, Public Integrity Division, and the Three Strikes
Policy. For his work in these areas and others, Mr. Cooley and his office
have received numerous awards and commendations, including the 2008 California
Newspaper Publishers Association’s prestigious and rare “Freedom of
Information Award.” His commitment to the justice system and his

Michael Jesic is seeking the position of Los Angeles County Superior

Act
This bill requires mandatory spay/neuter practices, with its
logical and practical exemptions for purebred, service and law enforcement
animals, in humane and demonstrates a positive fiscal impact.
