The Burbank Police Officers' Association supports various organizations and programs with active involvement and needed funding. We are dedicated to participating in and serving the Burbank Community.

The primary purpose of the Burbank Police Officers' Association is to operate an employee organization composed solely of persons who are employees of the Police Department. We promote, foster and encourage the welfare and social relations between the Burbank Police Department and the Community.

Our Association consists of 150 Active members and 127 Retired members.

Our members' personal efforts perform a significant role in assisting us in our endeavor to achieve our goals and vision for the City of Burbank. Burbank Police Officers' Association members generously donate to a Charity Fund through monetary contributions from payroll deductions. These funds benefit various Charitable Organizations in our communtity.

The Association sponsors an Annual Golf Tournament at DeBell Golf Course. Proceeds earned from this event are contributed to a Sports Fund. These funds are used to provide additional funding for various sport functions and various sporting events throughout the Community. Active and retired members participate in the Annual Challenge Cup Baker to Vegas Relay. The purpose of this highly competitive event is to promote camaraderie, physical fitness, pride and teamwork through a broad spectrum of law enforcement personnel.

The mission of the Burbank Police Officers' Association is to represent the law enforcement officers of the City of Burbank, to ensure and maintain professional standards for our members and to promote a partnership between the community they serve.
